Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how MentionWorks LLC (“MentionWorks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit mentionworks.io (the “Site”) or use our services (the “Services”).
1. Information we collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us, including when you submit our audit request form. This includes your name, email address, phone number, website URL, and any details you include in the message field.
We also automatically collect limited technical information when you visit the Site, including IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. This information is used to maintain the Site, prevent abuse, and improve performance.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to: (a) respond to your inquiries and deliver requested audits; (b) provide and improve the Services; (c) communicate about our Services, including occasional updates if you opt in; (d) maintain the security and integrity of the Site; and (e) comply with applicable law.
3. Legal bases for processing
We process personal information under one or more of the following legal bases: your consent (which you may withdraw at any time), the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps at your request, our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business, and compliance with legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information only with trusted service providers that help us operate the Site and Services, including email delivery (Resend), hosting (Render), and analytics. These providers are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations and may only use information to provide services to us.
We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MentionWorks, our users, or others.
5. Data retention
We retain inquiry and customer information for as long as needed to provide the Services, respond to follow-up requests, satisfy our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion at any time as described in Section 7.
6. Cookies and tracking
The Site uses a minimal set of first-party cookies and local storage to support core functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this Policy and provide a way to opt out.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@mentionworks.io. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
If you are in California, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information and do not knowingly “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Children
The Site and Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
9. International transfers
Our Services are operated from the United States. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your country of residence.
10. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, communicated to you directly.
